Tisrayanche Suke Recipe (Goan Clams Dry)

Posted by Layla T. on

If you are a Goan, and love shellfish, then you will definitely like this seafood recipe. Tisreo or tisrya means clams. The recipe is very simple and it just tastes amazing. You can make this as a side dish with your meal.

For cleaning the clams, you have to open the clams using sharp knife, remove the flesh from one shell and placing it in the other and discarding the other shell and then rinse them well. This is called tisreachi ekshipi (clams in one shell).

Serve Tisrayanche Suke along with Goan Fish Curry and Steamed Rice for a weekday meal with your friends and family.
